August 6th 2005, was Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's last DAY OF SERVICE in Council District 16. One of the events he attended was the "Dream With Me" Wall. 600 local Youth came to Eagle Rock Park to paint tiles for the Wall. The Center for the Arts at Eagle Rock (centerartseaglerock.org) commissioned me to make a 10 foot mural of Quetzalcoatl, "Q's Dream".
Dedicated to Bob Meistrell , co founder of BODY GLOVE and DIVE N SURF, this 3’x5’ community mural is the second project in collaboration with David Parsons of SUMMER STUDIOS in Lomita, CA. “Bobbin” Along is for sale and can be viewed at SUMMER STUDIOS on Lomita Blvd @ Narbonne.

A one of a kind community based, one of a kind, mosaic mural; the initial collaboration of
David Parsons at SUMMER STUDIOS ARTS ACADEMY and
Betty Rosen Ziff of MOSAIC ALCHEMY.
10’ long by 3” wide; mostly donated ceramic tile, glass, mirror, plates, hand made tiles, fused glass, marbles, slate, antique glass and ceramic rods.
Over 50 Community Members from ages 8-80 participated in every aspect of this mosaic mural.
